Maarten Heyse

From a young age, Maarten has been interested in figuring out how something works. Dismantling his mother’s vacuum cleaner and putting it back together was his way of learning the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of a functional object. Tied with that curiosity is his interest “to answer the question ‘how can I make this better?’”, Maarten says. So at 18, he decided to study engineering at the University of Ghent.

He got his first job as a software developer at Alcatel-Lucent, right after graduating in 2010. Three years into it, Maarten felt he wanted more challenges, more variety in the type of projects. Along came Addestino, where he got exactly what he wanted as a consultant. “Different industries, different projects, answering different needs, but always creating an impact,” Maarten sums up his job. Right now Maarten is part of Addestino’s management team, he is assisting customers in various sectors to become successful with “digital”.
